Enhanced Report Terminology

Enhanced reports leverage all of the data points to allow users total access to the information tracked in PickTrace. There are many new fields and terms available to users in enhanced reports - this article provides a list of all new terms and their definitions to provide additional clarity.

Fields and Terms PickTrace Definition
Acres Number of acres in relevant location and/or site.
Break Hours The time associated with paid rest period is based on the previous timecard's pay style (hourly or piece).
Container Tag Unique alphanumeric characters assigned to piece/unit (e.g. barcode on piece/unit scanned by PickTrace device).
Cost by Length Total labor cost divided by the length of row.
Cost per Acre Total labor cost divided by the number of acres.
Cost per Employee Total labor cost divided by the number of employees.
Cost per Piece Total labor cost divided by the number of pieces/units.
Cost per Plant Total labor cost divided by the number of plants.
Crew Name of relevant crew
Crop Name of the relevant crop
Date Date associated with other report columns’ data points
Device Name Unique identifying number for relevant device
Doubletime Hours Number of double-time hours incurred, if any
Doubletime Premium Twice the employee's regular rate multiplied by the double-time hours.
Employee Alt ID Customer-defined, alphanumeric unique identifier for employees.
Employee Group Name of the employee group that a specific employee is part of.
Employee ID PickTrace generated ID specific to an employee.
Employee Name First, Middle, AND Last names {First Middle Last}
Employee Title PickTrace title indicates the type of role for the employee.
Employer Employing entity relevant to the report and date range selected
End Time Relevant check-out time
Gross Pay Total wages earned before deductions and contributions.
Head Count The total number of unique employees.
Hourly Pay Total wages earned for hourly work.
Hourly Rate The actual rate used to pay the hours worked by an employee. Typically this is the higher of Employee, Job, and Minimum Wage Hourly Rates; additionally, if special rates are applied (E.g. Breaks/H2A requirements) it will also consider these.
Hours per Acre Total hours divided by Acres.
Hours per Piece Total hours divided by the number of pieces/units.
Is H2A Yes or No based on if the employee is H2A or not.
Job The relevant job performed 
Length Length of the relevant block
Location Name of the relevant block
Location Alt ID Customer-defined, alphanumeric unique identifier for location.
Lunch Hours The unpaid time associated with meal time.
Minutes per Piece Total minutes divided by the number of pieces/units.
Minutes per Plant Total minutes divided by the number of plants.
Non-Productive Hours All paid time that an employee spends resting or performing supportive work (e.g. rest breaks, travel time, safety meetings, etc.)
Overtime Hours The number of hours that qualify for overtime compensation.
Overtime Premium Half the employee's regular rate multiplied by the overtime hours.
Paid Hours Total paid hours that include both overtime and double time hours. Does not include sick, vacation, or other non-labor hours.
Piece Pay Total wages earned for piecework (piece pay style).
Piece Rate Compensation rate associated with 1 unit/piece of production.
Piece Rate Wage/hr Employee compensation per hour for piecework jobs.
Pieces Total unit count associated with the work.
Pieces per Employee The average number of pieces/units at the employee level.
Pieces per Hour Total pieces divided by total hours worked only for jobs that accept pieces.
Plants Number of plants in location(s).
Regular Hours Hours that qualify for paid compensation not including overtime, sick, vacation, other non-labor, etc.
Site Name of relevant ranch
Site Alt ID Customer-defined, alphanumeric unique identifier for the Site.
Start Time Check-in time scoped to the relevant level of aggregation.
Straight Pay Total compensation for regular hours.
Timecard Unique, alpha-numeric code that identifies a specific timecard
Total Hours All paid AND unpaid hours.
Unit Type Type of production or piece that is tracked (e.g. bin, tree, bucket, tote, clamshell, etc.)
Variety The specific type of crop.
Wage Adjustment Unearned compensation paid to ensure piecework employees receive the associated minimum wage.
Work Bundle Grouping of specific jobs, typically to capture a larger data set (e.g. Harvest, Pruning).
Work Type Hourly, Piecework, Hourly + Piece
Pay Style How a specific job is paid such as hourly, piece, hourly + piece, unpaid, meal, break, sick, vacation, or other.
