Setting up a Work Bundle
This is how all the configurable fields in the Work Bundles will affect while creating a new work bundle or editing an existing one.
- Work Bundle Name: Write the name of the Work Bundle
- Work Bundle Category: Select a category to be able to search by your Work Bundles by category in reporting.
- Job: Search for and select any Job(s) which will be available
- Dates: Set the likely months in which this Work Bundle will be used, e.g. Apple Harvest will be an active Work Bundle from July to November. Work Bundles can be set as active for all months. Even if you do not choose all the months, Work Bundles are always accessible in the Work Scheduler; they will simply be filtered to the top of the Work Scheduler options if it is an active month.
- Correction: Enable this to give Crew Leaders permission to make Corrections to Timecards and Production Records on the Device
- Hiring: Enable this to give Crew Leaders permission to hire new Employees on the Device
- Last Record Check-out: Enable this to give Crew Leaders permission to simultaneously check-out an Employee for the workday while crediting their final pieces of work
- Move Crew: Enable this to give Crew Leaders permission to move an entire Crew into a different Site, Location, or Job, or into breaks/lunches in the middle of the day (instead of locking the Crew into the initial activity of the day)
- Keyboard Check-in: Enable this to give Crew Leaders permission to type in Employees’ names/numbers to check-in workers (instead of only scanning Employee tags)
- Production Type: Use this to determine how to credit pieces:
- Unit: Use this to determine how to measure pieces, e.g., by Bin or by Tree.
- Unit min/max: Set the minimum and maximum for the number of pieces that can be credited at one time; the Device won’t credit any production amounts above or below this range
- Increment: Set the increment for which the Crew Leader can add more piece units. For example, if set to “1”, the Crew Leader can credit pieces with 1, 2, or 3 but not 1.5, 2.5, or 3.5; if set to “0.5”, the Crew’s Employees can do half of a unit of work.
